June Practices
The practice schedule for June has been released
I will address practices, times and locations.
We have a scheduled practice night - it is Tuesday at Deerhaven. I do not like having our practice night, the evening before a game, and our game nights are Wednesday. We also share the field with other teams on our practice night, so we will never have a full field to practice on Tuesdays. With that said, I will attempt to utilize as many Tuesday practices as I can.
There are no other practice evenings available in Ilderton Monday to Thursday. All the other fields are booked. Including our game field Wednesdays on the rare occasion we have that evening off. So in order to accomodate 2 practices a week, we are required to move around and utilize other fields in the local area.
Finally, practices have to be based off coaching availability. Your head coach is a rotational shift worker, and your assistants work out of town or have other commitments. We will do our best to get schedules out early in order to allow for everyones busy planning, but it will not always be possible.
So, we will schedule 2 practices a week, and 1 game, so your athlete is playing 3 times a week, but it will be spread out over different days of the week and locations.
