Grassroots (U9-U13)

Ilderton & District Soccer Club follows the Soccer Canada and Ontario Soccer guidelines. This means that our teams play in a grassroots development model without formal standings or tournament-style competitions before U14.

Competitive (Tier 1 and Tier 2)

Registrants in the competitive stream will play against clubs within the Elgin Middlesex District Soccer League (EMDSL). Tier 1 is the highest level of competition within the league while Tier 2 is slightly less competitive, described as a development stream.

The season begins mid-May and runs through mid-September. Teams will play a minimum of one game per week and typically practice twice although schedules vary based on each coach and team. Age-division specific game nights are assigned by the district and schedules are usually released in late April or early May.

Recreational (Tier 3)

Registrants in the recreational or house league stream will also play against clubs within EMDSL. Tier 3 teams represent Ilderton Ignite and play against other clubs in the surrounding area.

The season begins mid-May and runs through mid-September. Teams will play a minimum of one game per week and typically practice once although schedules vary based on each coach and team. Age-division specific game nights are assigned by the district and schedules are usually released in late April or early May.
